*To be pronounced "adioo" by the singer, according to Pendleton, since that is how Joyce pronounced it.

我見過這首詩的兩種漢譯，差別頗大。

一是【喬伊斯詩全集】傅浩譯，河北教育，2002，頁17，

另外是【我們的一生】The Art of Becoming Human By MARY E. MERCER，  嚴韻譯，台北：一方，2002，頁108-109
