羅蘭夫人句; "混淆了"客觀" ( objectification )的詞興"


羅蘭夫人 / ロラン夫人Madame Roland1754年3月17日 - 1793年11月8日

On 8 November 1793, she was conveyed to the guillotine. Before placing her head on the block, she bowed before the clay statue of Liberty in the Place de la Révolution, uttering the famous remark for which she is remembered:
O Liberté, que de crimes on commet en ton nom! (Oh Liberty, what crimes are committed in thy name!)[9]
「自由自由,天下古今幾多之罪惡,假汝之名以行!」(記得這是梁啟超的句子:應是從日文而來......)

  • 11月8日 「自由よ、汝の名の下でいかに多くの罪が犯されたことか」という有名な言葉を残した後、処刑された。逃亡先でその知らせを聞いた夫は自殺した。

我要查第138頁的"我覺得這是矯枉過正,混淆了"客觀" ( objectification )的詞興。"的翻譯有點問題。作者原意是否為:不應把蘇詞中的"人(情)"看成是物化。
In social philosophy, objectification means treating a person as a thing, without regard to their dignity.

Kang-i 說:「Hanching Chung Thank you for your comment. But in literary criticism, "objectification" means “客观”。Apparently it's different in social philosophy. I appreciate your pointing out this point though. 」
